QualIT seeks a Senior Production Engineering Manager for our client in Harrodsburg, KY. Our client is a market leader in developing and manufacturing automotive components.

Responsibilities of the Senior Production Engineering Manager:

·       Lead and manage a team of test engineers and test engineering technicians.

·       Coordinate testing activities across multiple lines and projects.

·       Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones to meet customer requirements.

·       Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

·       Oversee creation and maintenance of test documentation including test cases, scripts, and reports.

·       Continue improving preventative maintenance plan for testing systems.

·       Optimize frequency of maintenance on systems by analyzing downtime and yield rates.

·       Manage test environments and tools.

·       Design and implementnew testing capabilities based on new technology.

·       Participate or leaddefect reduction activities to reduce defect cost, improve testing capability, and optimize test reliability by evaluating CPK data.

Qualifications for the Senior Production Engineering Manager position:

·       Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related fieldof study and 60 months (5 years) of progressive, post-baccalaureate experienceas a Test Engineering Manager, Test Development Engineer, or Test Development Group Leader in the automotive components manufacturing industry.

·       Experience must include managing test engineering team, Six Sigma Statistical Analysis, 8D problemsolving, C++, .Net, C#, LabVIEW, and Power Bi. Demonstrable knowledge of Test Systems Architecture required.

·       Up to 5% domestic orinternational travel may be required, as needed. Employment contingent upondrug screen and background check.
